Usb reading as Disk drive!

Hello,

Okay so i got a new Usb flash drive 16gb, and i wanted to download the sims 3. but didnt have enough space! So i used my usb drive to store it on there....and then all of a sudden an error comes up on the installation of sims part way! So i take out the usb and put it back in, it reads as a DVD disk drive called something the name changed....the usb is a Kingston one! Please help! I dont know how to make it go back to being a Usb imstead of readimg as a Disk drive. :o
