Old compressed file

When i performed disk clean up in Windows XP, i saw old compress file.
I don't know clearly about this. can you explain me, what is that mean?
can i delete it? if i delete what happend? the special data will be delet or no?
Should i delet it or no?

1. How are you proceeding to perform the disk clean-up ?

2. For what purpose are you cleaning-up ?

3. What are the names, properties and location of those compressed files ?

4. Can you give the path for those files ?

I use built disk clean up came from with windows XP
For free some space on my hard drive
I didnt clear of the location of that fie.
