Seagate Hard Disk access Issue.

Hi Guys,
I have a Seagate 1 TB 2.0 USB external drive. It has all the data in it when i see in the properties of that file, but the problem with me is that when i open that drive a shortcut file has been created in it which is of 1kb and it does not allow me to access it. When i open it it shows an error as $WRV.FAT32 The specified module could not be found. I have my important documentation as well as my stuffs in it .So, Please help me ASAP.
Note: The error remains same on switching to multiple computer.
