My acer aspire one D270 netbook won't start up

Hello all,

was working fine a while ago,now I turned it on and I can see the acer logo but that's about it. it just frozen on the acer logo.

Could you help me ?

try it with another hard drive and boot disk, sounds like the hard drive is dead.

Hello,
My acer aspire E14 is not turning on, I also tried plugging it - no use...it is not even indicating any light please help
Note - it has an inbuilt battery

My backlight has never been on for my Acer laptop, im wondering if this model does not have a backlight function, or what but i cant find anything online for this model. ive tried Fn+F9 already and that does nothing. its really hard to use my laptop in the dark because i cant see the keyboard at all. someone please help and let me know if theres a way i can turn the backlight on or does my laptop not even have a backlight? thanks
