Acer aspire 5733Z right click function has changed

i used to be able to right click and save items to my desktop , under "save as" or "send to" now all i get is inspect element, spell checker options when i right click. i really miss clicking on a web page or part of and saving to a folder on my desk top but i cant do it anymore, is this a bug or is it an easy fix for me to do, i'm not very computer literate so any replies would be appreciated in easy to understand terms please. many thanks in advance.
i have had a good look round the forums and how-to's and looks like i will get this solved by some very clever people.
