Thank you Ambucias. I have tried the first method involving the 0 key and it has not worked. I will try the burning the program now. Can I use another toshiba laptop it is a satellite l655-s5150 to burn the program and have it work for mine. Hope so

If you talking about Windows, no, but the recovery partition may be.
