Unrecognized disk

Can't play online with my xbox keep getting this message unrecognized disk. But I can play single player story part of the games. Talked to the reps and they say its the games. I have 10 games and I know for a fact that all game disk are not bad. Then turned around and said they could fix it for $79.00! After saying it was the games. Dose anyone know what the deal is.

The discs are probaly damaged but only on some parts or if its an original xbox game and your trying to play it on 360 you need a hard drive

Hello,

I plugged my Western Digital external hard drive into my Playstation 3 and my Xbox 360 so I could stream my movies off of it. I went to plug it back into my computer, and now my computer no longer reads it :

Volume information for this disk cannot be found

Is there something I can do, some settings I can tweak somewhere where I can now use my external again on my computer. It still works with my 360 and PS3, just not my computer. I have about 17 GB worth of data on it ranging from pictures, movies and music and I really don't want to format my hard drive. If theres anything I can do to fix this PLEASE let me know. Hi.. can you please help me.
My LENOVE UHD F309 USB 3.0 with capacity 1 TB cannot be detected by my laptop. The light does not even blinking.
Does the problem lies with the drive ? Can I save the info inside it ? There are my important things in it.please help......
By the way, I have tried using different USB cable and I've also tried using another computer.But,the problem still the same
