Laptop wont boot sayin no devices found

Hello,

everythim i switch on my laptop, it tell me that i should reconnect any portable devices that were last used and them put them back in, but i have not used and usb foirmats!!! i try to boot it again but wont work, still says an error has occured!!!!

It could be you have a dead hard drive and the BIOS is searching for any device to boot from. Do you have a bootable Windows or Linux CD that you can use to test with?
