Vaio laptop key board not working properly.

Sir,
I have purchased a sony vaio laptop 3 years back. Now, the key board is not woring properly e.g.- space bar is not functioning, the number 5 is auto-typing/ auto-generating randomly.
Some of my friend said that, the key board needs replacement. some others say reinstallation of keypad drive will solve the problem.
Please solve me find a solution.
