Toshiba problems

Hello,

I was using my Toshiba Satellite and it froze up. I turned it off and then back on and my mouse pad stopped working. My cursur will move and highlight an icon but will not follow the command when clicked. I tried the function key and f9 and nothing.

My cursor is frozen, the touchpad does not work. I connected external mouse through USB port and it worked fine.

Any idea on how to solve it?

Hello! I have a Toshiba laptop that I've had for about 2 years. The cursor has recently became frozen or disappears altogether. I've tried using F5 and it does nothing. I've turned my laptop on and off and it still won't work. I downloaded an antivirus software to make sure there wasn't some sort of virus on my laptop preventing the mouse from working as well, and that still didn't fix it. I've discovered if I hold down the left click button and drag, the mouse will work, but that's the only time and it's extremely aggravating. I need help restoring my Toshiba satellite C40-C-10Q laptop.
I have already tried doing the "hold zero and press the power on button" and "F12 & F2 nothing is working.
Can you please help!

System Configuration: Android / Chrome 37.0.0.0

I have access to my keypad and my mouse. The touchpad does not work. the light that locks that touchpad is on - but whne I click F5 it does not go off (I also tried FN+F5, ALT+F5, CTRL+F5...)
I have restarted my system and the light is still on.
Any other ideas?
