Hi
First, find the exact driver for your sound card.
See this Kioskea How-to:

Hi,
I did. I have installed SoundMAX driver and control center. But there is still no sound. Does it require Realtek and stuff?

It all depends on your sound cards make and model. What is it. Look at the How-to to find the make and model of your sound card.
Let me know.
Soundmax has nothing to do with this.

No it's not.
Once in the device manager, you will see audio controller, click on the + sign a list will be displayed. Tell me all in detail that you see on that list.

High Definition Audio Device is a Realtek sound card, but the card should appear in your device manager like Realtek ALC660, Realtek ALC882...etc
Try downloading and installing the following driver
https://ccm.net/downloads/tools/5771-realtek-high-definition-audio-driver-64-bits/
If you sound does not return, you may get the proper driver from your Asus web site.

You mean the Realtek driver I referred did not work?
What is your Asus model, (not motherboard model but computer model)
