Compaq presario powers on but does not boot.

Hi, I have a Compaq Presario that powers on but does not boot. It beeps one short then one long. I've removed all the ram, still the same. I blew out all the dust, still the same, I even tried taking the battery out and waited 30 seconds and put it back, still one short, one long. What do I do?

Hello

This is very bad news.

From the beeps, we either have a system board or hard disk failure.

My best suggestion is to see a technician for data recovery and or repair.
