Unable to boot up

Hello,

While booting up my windows XP, the screen shows a message - ' analog power saving mode'
And the screen turns black.
No amount of pressing keys, moving the mouse, etc is working and i'm not able to get on my desktop at all!!!
This happens every time i try ro boot up.
please help.

Ok, hang in there. Did it ever function correctly? Any power outages or floods in your area recently? Do you have another monitor to help in trouble shooting? What kind of Monitor is it? What kind of PC? Have your tried to boot in safe mode?
