Dell Vostro 1015 not starting [Solved/Closed]

I have a DELL Vostro 1015 which doesnt start. It shows that windows was unable to start properly.
then it shows 2 options, startup recovery and start windows normally.
when I click startip recovery, the screen shiws windows is loading files and after that the screen goes blank and again It shows that windows did not start properly and shiws the same 2 options.
please help.

Did you run the Dell diagnostic programs? You can start them by pressing F12 right after you see the Dell logo. I suggest you run the memory and hard disk tests.
I suspect you have a failing hard disk that needs replacement. If the Dell diagnostic OKs your hard disk. Then, you will probably need to restore the laptop to its factory state. There by loosing ALL your stored data and installed programs.
