Hello,
I had previously put a new hard drive in an old laptop of mine (Because it stopped working) and got a copy of windows XP to put on, at the start it kept on asking me to activate windows and any product key I found was valid but it kept on restarting and now when it comes to the windows boot screen it comes up with a blue screen very quick then it restarts. Ive 'Disabled automaic restart on system failure' by pressing F8 on boot menu and it comes up with a blue screen with '*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF7A60524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)', also I've tried booting in safe mode and even looked up answers on a problem similar to this but all the solutions didn't work, also this laptop doesn't have a disk drive so if anyone has a solution to this that would be much helpful. (Laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2)

Hello,

Try this 1

Go to BIOS --> Look for SATA settings --> Change the mode to IDE\Compatible -->

Save the settings and exit from it.

Good Luck
