LG Flatron is giving reddish colors after it stopped working

I got an LG Flatron W2353V and suddenly it stopped working.
After a few days, it worked again but the colors turned reddish.
Then it stopped working after the power went out and after like a month I checked it before throwing it away and it started working again! Why is this happening??
I did try different cables and nothing has changed.
I tried to calibrate the color but I guess the monitor just doesn't display the colors as it used to.
I wanna know if anyone has new ideas or should I just throw it away!

I vote for the "throw it away" option.

I suspect it's a power supply problem. But, today's electronics are just not made to be fixed after they break.
