Hi,
There are no major or minor ways, just how:
1. You download a contaminated file, programme or application.
2. Intrusion by a hacker.
3. Contamination by another computer via a network.

If it stays out in the rain, with no coat! that does it for me, why wouldn't happen to the machine too?

MANGLED administration of networks/PC's by people that have no idea of what they are doing, and the PC network is acting "correctly", as the administrator has set it up that way!
