Hello, I am having problems connecting to the internet. Normaly 15 wife connections come up. The neigbours connections and mine. For the last few days most of the time NO connections come up and there is a red cross. It says no connections are available. Sometimes one or two connections come up including mine. But the signal is weak and down to one bar and not five.

This first happened the other day. My screen was flickering and stopped working. So I replaced it with another one from my last laptop. both laptops are the same and are compaq presario cq61.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

James.

The antenna for the wifi is located behind the screen - perhaps you didn't connect it correctly.

Good luck
