Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the below link
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/
Update it --> Perform "Full Scan"
Note : Default selected option is "Quick Scan"

I'm not being able to update it. It keeps checking for updates (with 2 arrows moving in circle) for sometime, and finally shows "Unable to access database server" followed by v2014.03.04.09

Should I go ahead with the scan anyway?

This is the scan log after running Malwarebytes' Anti Malware: http://speedy.sh/JYG7S/Scan-log.txt
After the full-scan, 5 potential threats have been detected on my computer. Should I go ahead and quarantine them all?

This is the ZHP Diag log (w/o having quarantined the above mentioned threats): http://speedy.sh/HV4rA/ZHPDiag.txt

1. The potential threats don't appear on the log, what are they?

2. You have "cracked" software in your system, we usually do not help people who avoid purchasing licenses as it is illegal. Also, cracked software are a dangerous source of infection. As a matter of a fact, your machine got reinfected with "delta search".

Before we can process further, please remove all crack software. Once completed please submit a new ZHP Diag log.

1) Launch your current Internet browser and go to the CNET® Avira® Free Antivirus 2012 download page.
2) Click on the "Download Now" button. Save the installation file to your computer and launch it.
3) The installation wizard will start. Choose the express installation type and check the end user license agreement checkbox. Click on the "Next" button.
4) On the web protection screen, click on the "Next" button. The installation process will begin, followed by an automatic update.
5) After an update the application will launch a fast scan. You can stop it by clicking on the "Stop" button. Congratulations! Avira Free Antivirus is now installed to your computer!
