I tried to login to my facebook account last night and my password would not work. I tried to follow the steps to reset my password to my account but when logging in, it would not recognize my email as a log in. I have tried to follow the advice on the help forum, but it always was suggested to be logged to my account at the time. I tried to get the confirmation thing sent from my smart phone, but yet again, I think you have to logged into your account. I followed the suggestion on changing the pt assword from my connecting email account to regain access to my facebook, but I still can't get in.....CAN SOME ONE PLEASE HELP...I've spent hours looking up things on the "help page" with no help

The links I have given you are the only ones provided by Facebook for account recovery, there is no other way.

Who instructed you to change your e-mail password?
