Can't log into facebook

Hi,

My Facebook account has been hacked and I can't log in. When I try, it asks for a verification code and there is no code there to use. It is a very basic text only page.

If your account has been hacked and you have Access to your Login Email
* Go here: https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=hacked_self_recovery

If your account has been hacked and your login Email has been changed
* Go here: https://www.facebook.com/help/

If your account has been hacked and you don't have access to your login Email
* Go here: https://www.facebook.com/help/

Thanks for your reply, but these do not help. I tried the first one and it asked for a verification code but there was no code there so I could not continue.

I was able to log in to facebook on my iPad. I was told that I had been locked out because my fb account had been compromised. I do remember accidentally clicking on an ad. I don't know what to do next now. How do I contact the fb people to see if they can clear my account of what ever it is?

I would like to be able to use fb on my computer for various reasons

So you would like to use your account for various reasons, I think that most people use it also for the same reasons as you which are various.

Have you asked Facebook for a verification code?

See here, you must provide your e-mail address the same that normally gives you access to your account

Don't quite understand your point about 'various', but anyway.....I don't think you understood my point either. No matter.

Hi

I was just adding a remark on your statement:

"I would like to be able to use fb on my computer for various reasons" which is evident. I also use my account for various reasons. If on Kioskea's main page, you click on the Facebook link you will find out one of my various reasons.
