A domain requires an active directory. Do you have that service loaded and enabled?

Hi ac3mark, thanks for responding. Yes i have it loaded and enabled, i even have 3 xp systems added to the domain already just left with window 7 & 8 systems to be added. What do you think could have been the problem?

Well looking at the administration of the picture, your subdomain of office under the Server.com address does not exist. Where is the AD sitting?

What is the fully qualified domain name of your local domain?

Right click computer on your DC and go to properties. What is the domain stated there? Should be domain.local
