My disk driver got problem.

Well, yesterday my dad just accidentally drop my laptop. When I check my laptop everything work fine just my disk drive wont read the disk that I put in, it just stand still like there nothing in it.
How can I fix it? Do I need to go out for repair or I can fix it at home.

Looks like you will need a new hard disk and install of the Windows OS.
You probably can not do this at home.
