Dell laptop shut down help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well i was using my laptop its a dell laptop that came out this year i think its widows 8... well i was usuing it and then all of a sudden it shut down and wont turn back on so i took the battery out and flipped it over. so everything is all black everything is shutdown nothing will turn on anymore can anyone help or at least give me some advice and please make it simple.

Your Laptop might be overheating. or try cleaning your Ram
