Laptop turns off

Hi guys !

My Sony vaio laptop has been shutting randomly in the past 2 weeks.
It works fine until I plug in the battery charger .....
Sometimes it turns off without the battery being plugged in .

It turned of today .. So I took out the battery for a couple of minutes then inserted it again thankfully my laptop turned on but to be cautiousness I restarted on safe mode.

Help would be much appreciated

Hello,

I think you may need to change the battery to new one.
