Gateway Notebook won't boot up...

I have a Gateway Touch LT series, had it a little less than 4 months. When I tried to restart it, It never turned fully off, just kept making a clicking noise. So I just took the battery out and placed it back in and try to boot up and it still made the clicking noise and wouldn't turn on. I searched online and I came across several instances identifying the clicking noise as my hard disk failing, I hope this isn't the case, this is a fairly new laptop and any reassurance is appreciated.

The clicking would indicate a failed hard drive. I hope the laptop is still under warranty.
