check that your TV inputs are correct go to your TV's menu check to see how many inputs you have some tv's have as many as 4 so you need to make sure you tv is set to the correct input that the HDMI is using. Hope that helps, if you are sure you are on the right input then check that cable.

check the setting on the pc that it is using hdmi to connect to second monitor or tv in this case
on the tv set the lowest setting note in the setting if its set to 1080p so reset to 576p or 720 which is standard definition.
try reestablish the connection
