Hi there.

It was like any other time i had used my computer, i was gaming the night before and then the next day moved house to my university accomodation.

After carefully packing the computer like i have done before, moved back and forth multiple times and boxed my computer.

I then unboxed my computer when i started unpacking everything, plugged everything like usual and turned it on, the light on the power button didnt light up, after waiting a moment to see if it would i noticed my mouse and keyboard also didnt light up and there was no signal to my monitor even though it was on.

I tried plugging the power into multiple sockets to see if it was a fault with the power supply which it wasnt and as the computer is actually turning on and the fans are on but nothing else seems to work im a bit confused

I dont know a lot about computer hardware myself, so any help would be greatly appriciated but long story short, my computer turns on, the light at the front doesnt come on, the fan does but there is also no power to the keyboard or mouse

Thanks in advance

would just like to add, as i said before im not too confident when it comes to opening it up and checking things as i fear i would do more damage than good

It would look like you have disturbed a power or data wire during the move. This is a common problem and can be easily fixed if you have the knowledge. Perhaps you can find someone in you dorm that is knowledgeable about computers. What you want to do is remove each plug and reinsert it.

Good luck
