Dont show pendrive in windows 7 Closed

Hello, 
when i am plugin the pendrive, then my pd  is not show in my laptop. But all the funtions works properly so plz help me what can do.

Was the memory stick formatted with a Windows XP computer?

back up the data on the pen drive from another computer.

plug the drive in and click start and type "disk management".

the pen drive should show up in there, format it to NTFS, quick format.

if it doesnt show then it is faulty.
