Good Afternoon.

I wish to sell my Laptop & wish to reboot it to factory settings. I have so far been unsuccessful in my attempts to do this using the online guides by people such as powering up the laptop & pressing down 0. This does not give me the option to factory reset. I then opened in safe mode as another user suggested and again was not met with any warning message about rebooting!

I'm not very techy with computers but will say that I have no discs to reboot this & that the disc drive is damaged.

Please can someone save me from pulling out what little hair I have

Kind Regards
Perry

Also how much would this sort of Laptop be worth?

It is about 5 years old, Windows Vista, 2GB Ram, Hard Drive is 117GB.

Works just fine except for the dvd rewriter - but I have an external re-writer i plug in with usb.

I was quoted £52 from an online site that buys old laptops but have no idea if this is a good price or not??

Old laptop's are not worth much and are hard to sell. I suggest you take the money and run.

Good Luck
