I have an old laptop that I would like to give to a friend if I can get it running satisfactorily. It originally had an XP operating system, which was replaced with Vista Home Premium in 2006 by the original owner. It crashes and freezes, and I would like to do a repair reinstall, but I have no Vista Disk. I downloaded a Vista ISO but haven't figured out how to use it.
Any tips on that, or better yet, tips on how to get a copy of a Vista Home Premium install program would be appreciated. I have retrieved the Vista Key from the laptop.
