IE 11, Click throughs are loading so slow.

My IE 11 is up-to-date. I have a very robust 6 month old workstation. My pages on Internet Explorer load so slow, many take up to 2 minutes. And if I am on a scrolling site like FB it does not load the photos properly, almost like there would be a vid card or memory issue. That can not be the case. Chrome runs without delay. I need to use IE for a company that I do work for.
Any thoughts? Could it be a virus or some other nasty thing on my big strong work station?

Start by clearing your browser cache, temp files. Also disable any add-ins that may be running. Disable all of the add-ins and see if the performance improves. If it does, enable each one, One-by-one, until it degrades. You should be able to determine the performance cause with that method. Start with that and let us know!
