Well if it doesn't turn on then it doesn't work.
Try this:
1. Remove the battery and remove the charging cable
2. press down and hold down the start button for 60 seconds
3. reinsert the battery and connect the charging cable
4. attempt to restart the laptop.
Sometimes this will fix problems with hibernation.
