Hi Shas,
Do you mean that the light is on, when connected? Why do you think the device is recognized? Check if it is listed in Device Manager under the USB devices. If it is, uninstall the device, restart the PC and plug it back in. Check if the drive is working properly when connected to another PC or with another USB cable.
