Hello nick,
When you have a volume letter for your drive, then your device is listed. The reason that you can't see it is because it's converted to dynamic. You have to convert it to static.
Try this:
1. diskpart> list volume (find the sequence of the volume you want to clear hidden)
2. diskpart> select volume number (please adjust the number accordingly)
3. diskpart> attributes volume clear hidden
