Hard disk drives error

hi,
iam first using windows 7 after 6 months later again formatting my system in only 'C' drive again iam installing windows xp but my other drives are ( D,E,F ) not opened after formatting my system it will showing message is .........( The disk in drive E is not formatted do you want format it )
what can i do i have lots of important files in the D,E,F Disks dries please kindly help me
