Hi all,

I have used excel for years but never at an expert level. I am currently in a position where I need to view multiple tabs of data daily to see that entries have been made. The workbook is currently shared amongst 10 different users. It would make my life much easier if an automatic email could be sent when changes are made to data in any tab within a workbook. Not only that changes have been made but also what those changes are.

Unfortunately I was unable to find anything on the web that made any sense or worked. Please help.

What you are talking about is a turn key software solution. We cannot possibly engineer a bullet proof app that can be cut and pasted from here to there.

Keep an open mind, as there are plenty of genius' around here, one might have already done what you are talking about.

"If you would have told me 20 years ago that everyone was going to be a photographer in 20 years, I wouldn't have believed you!"

Hello

I understand Mark's reaction and I fully agree with him.

You are asking for a business solution.

However, if you are talking about only one document, that document must be protected and be restricted to a group. Hence, all changes will be highlighted. You must also have a network connection.

In Excel, if you press F1, it's explained in detail.

Good luck
