After editing all by suggested to have desktop back

Hello,

as per advise i did all to get my desktop back but after reboot it won't work so again i have to do all the same steps. Need full solutions pls help.

sir actually i lost my desktop items hence i visited ur site and found to try the followings step like in task manager remove explorer.exe first then edit registry and then as new task start explorer.exe again. these all i did and got my desktop back but after restart the same thing happing again and again hence need solution.

IN the future, explain all of the steps that you have completed, so as we do not duplicate what you have attempted. Try to scan your pc for virus.

i did close the explorer.exe file and reinstall in regiedit then again run that explorer. .. but not worked then replaced the files from my another pc but not worked ... scaned whole pc and removed virus but still not working then repaired the xp but still same problem.

i hv to again and agin restart the explorer . exe file from task manager.

just about to format the same and saw ur massage. pls help to save my time and work.
