Laptop frozen in black screen but i can control the mouse

Hello, the laptop of my sister is frozen in black screen but i can control the mouse but before it happened i shut it down then its says" theres still an application running" 2options appeared it says shut down anyway and then cancel i pressed cancel then the black screen appeared.

Try powering it off by pressing the on/off button for about 5 seconds (until it fully switces off). Now reboot and hopefully it will work now.
