I ave a hp Pavilion dv2000 i was recovering it when it ask me for recovery disk 3 which I don't have so i cancel it after canceling it it when to a blank screen with a blinking undercore icon i don't know what to do can you please help me

Disk three of what?  If it is your recovery disk, then you shold have disk three.  If you are reloading the O/S, who told you to perform such a task?  What o/s are you  trying to rebuild?
