I made an account just to get help for my laptop. I have tried taking out the battery and holding the power button for 30-60 seconds but nothing has worked. When ever i press the power button my laptop fan will come on for a few seconds and the led for the power button will show up but this only last for about 1-3 seconds

you might try removing the memory modules one at a time to see if that allows you to boot. That's the only other EASY thing you can try.

It appears that your BIOS has detected a hardware error during the boot process. A local PC repair shop might be required to further diagnose the problem. But, it might not be cost effective to pore money into an old slow computer.

Good luck
