Black screen with cursor

Hello,

Im dell inspiron user
Before the problem happened I were formating the laptop using dell restore then when I restart it turned black screen. Please help me. I've tried all with f8 and safe mode. It's not working

Hi there,

When you are in Windows and you see the black screen and cursor, enter Task Manager by pressing ctrl + alt + del. Search processes and terminate explorer.exe. After that, import new task from file. Type explorer in the line. The new task should be created as Administrator. If you manage to fix the issue, go to the video card manufacturer's web page and search for some driver updates.

Well, from the topic I got the impression that at least the cursor is visible. If nothing is visible, you should try changing cables and confirm that the hardware is properly working. If you have some warranty left, I strongly recommend you to contact the reseller.
