Lenovo laptop z560 got switched off after downloading a Internet

Hello,
My Lenovo Laptop got switched off after downloading a Internet security software . After that I have tried all options and it has not been fruitful . The battery charger is also attached , but there is not light indication on the device . It is simply dead .
Requesting if you could help me find a solution .

Can you tell us which Internet Security software you downloaded and from which site?
What is your operating system?

I was downloading Bitdefender total security software . Using Windows 7 home basic
