Please help... BLUE SCREEN after windows logo...

a few weeks back.. i installed a CD/DVD - Rom on my "still working" computer....
then after i tried to turn it on.. the blue screen occured..i can't even access safe mode

i tried to format my drive using CD, and USB but both didn't work..
it just stays on a black screen with a blinking "underscore" _

so i tried to format it again using another pc.. and it worked but when i slide in my drive to my computer it still didn't work.. still got the blue screen after windows logo..

the good part is now i can access safe mode...

so what can i do to fix this?

i tried using CHKDSK /R on safe mode but it just ask me to Yes or No to start one after restarting..

please help...

Hello Gabriel

Yes, it is a good thing that you can get in safe mode with networking.

Let see about this blue screen (BSOD)

Download the following on your desktop:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/bluescreenview.zip

Unzip the file

Double click on BlueScreenView.exe

At the end of the scan, click on edit and then on select all

Go on file and click on save selected items

Save the log as bsod.txt

Open bsod.txt, copy and paste here

thanks for answering...

i have a bit of a problem here.. i downloaded the file that you asked me to...
then i opened BlueScreenView.exe then nothing happened...( if it is automatic)

also i looked around if i can see a scan button but i can't..

is there something i need to do first before it scans??

sorry i'm a newbie..
