My laptop fell on the floor and will not boot up.

Good day,

I have an older IBM Thinkpad that inadvertently fell on the floor yesterday. It will no longer boot up as I receive messages such as "device not found" and "no valid operating system." I'm hopeful that something was dislodged rather than the hard drive being damaged.

Any feedback, guidance or assistance you might offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

did you open the HDD cover and check if it's dislocated?
