I have Windows 8.1 on my pc/tab. I really do not like it at all.
I would like to try windows 10 or e
Windows 4 which is on my laptop.
But, I would like choice to use win.8 again if I feel like I need to do so.
Also, I was wondering if Windows 7 will have an exp.,date like the others did?
Really, I guess, I want to know how long Windows 7 will still be good and not need to be updated to !Win. 8or Win. 10

You will soon get an upgrade icon on Win 7 or Win 8 machines. That will put there as part of your normal updates.
This will be a free upgrade to Win 10.
You will probably not need to restore to Win 8 but you will have an option to do so. I am using Win 10 now and it is working fine.
Yes Win 7 will stop being supported at some point. I don't think Microsoft has announced the exact date.

Hi
I read about : windows 7, Microsoft will stop mainstream support on January 12, 2015. But the company will keep providing extended support until January 14, 2020.
Also you can try to make a new partition and install win10 or try it in a virtual machine.

Thank you for your reply. I am not sure of one thing.
Is July 29th the date Windows 10 will be updated free, or the
Date Windows 7 won't be supported anymore.
