Hello, the battery of my asus is covered up. I'd need a screwdriver. Is there any other way? The screen went blank in the middle of a movie, and i've tried to put it on and off, and still have the same problem

what makes you think it is the battery? what do you plan on doing when you open it? What is the model of your laptop?

I really appreciate thank you messages as a payment for solving issues :o)

I read that to solve the screen problem, i should remove the battery and then hold the power button down to use up residual power, return the battery and start. But the battery of my laptop is covered and i don't want further damage done if i open up the laptop. So is there any other way to solve the screen problem?

As far as I know Acer laptops all have a battery that is removable by undoing a clip. I may be wrong with this though - what is the model of your machine? you havent responded to that question yet.
