I can't access mu yahoo account

Hello,
i have a problem with access my yahoo ID. i still remember my password and the ID but when i try to login yes it acepts the information but there is need to verify the device i'm using to loging. to do this there is need to get the verification code from the recovery mail now the very problem is that by the time i got this email, i was very young and i was just being assisted by one of my neighbours in the then reisdence and i nolonger have access to him not if by any means, kindly help me how i can verify my device without a confirmation code
i will be glad for the solution to this
