Keyboard malfunctioning

Hi. I have a HPENVY DV7, with windows 7 and 8. The right and up arrow keys stopped working, and the right numbers keypad only works partially. While in word, the right arrow installs a 6. The delete button installs a two. Any ideas on how to fix? Would a restore help any?

I would test with an external USB keyboard. If it's successful then you should replace the internal keyboard.
