Hi,I am Harikrishnan. I bought a new motherboard and processor.(It is a DDR2 mother board and intel 2.4GHz duel core processor) My question is,is it necessary to apply the "thermal paste" on the processor?

Hello,

Some people find it beneficial to use the paste as it gives the CPU and Heatskin a better bond which means the heat cannot escape and get trapped in any air betwen the two.

If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0
